In this segment of the From the Heart of Asia Documentary, Linh interviews a Tsaatan Shaman named, Enkhtuya. Tsaatan means Reindeer, as Tsaatan Nomads are reindeer herders that populate the coldest most inhospitable northern regions of Mongolia in the mountains and forests.  Enkhutuya is one of the few Shaman who welcomes the chance to speak with foreigners, and though many shun her for doing so, she shows a strong sense of survival evolution in a changing more modernizing world. This survival and willingness to accept the changes allows her to prosper in ways more strictly traditional shamans can not.

Enkutuya, is a very powerful and recognized Shaman amongst her people and her story is compelling.
